Surely then, there's an argument that if we need a fifth starter (i.e. if Kelvim Escobar isn't ready to go after his AAA rehab start), it would be logical to give Chris Bootcheck or even Jake Woods a start? You have nothing to lose, and give them the experience of a major league start if they're called upon to do so in the future.
